Abbey is Watsi’s Program and Operations Associate, supporting the team’s efforts to expand access to healthcare for patients around the world and ensure seamless day-to-day operations that power Watsi’s mission.
Abbey is currently in her gap year before medical school. Before joining Watsi, she was a Research Technician in a transplant immunology lab at the University of Wisconsin. With her background in research, Abbey applies her analytical mindset, eagle-eye attention to detail, and data-driven approach to strengthen operations and drive efficiency across Watsi’s global initiatives. She is passionate about coming together to support underserved patient populations in ways that are meaningful and locally informed.
Originally from Northern Wisconsin, Abbey now lives in Madison, where she spends her free time exploring the city (and cheering on the Badgers), curled up with a good mystery novel, or experimenting in the kitchen.
