Premal Shah is the co-founder of Kiva, a non-profit crowdfunding organization that has raised over $1 billion dollars in crowdfunded loans to support low-income entrepreneurs in 90 countries, where he served as President for 13 years. He is now the Chief Business Officer at Branch International, a social enterprise that uses the power of data science to reduce the cost of delivering financial services in emerging markets. Premal was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, selected to FORTUNE magazine’s “Top 40 under 40″ list, and an Obama White House Champion of Change. Premal also served on Watsi's Board of Directions from 2015-2021.
