Meet Emily, Chief of Growth & Engagement at Watsi, bringing her wealth of experience to our globally remote team from Atlanta, USA. She leads Watsi's philanthropic partnerships — building relationships and exploring innovative ideas and collaborations that will help Watsi reach more people with life-changing healthcare.
Before joining Watsi, Emily served as the Chief Development Officer of Medic, where she facilitated investment in the digitization of some of the world's most remote health systems across Africa and Asia. She has also led national campaigns for youth development organizations, public-private partnerships for the NIH, and direct-to-patient funding of medications for chronic and critical illnesses.
Emily spends much of her time raising her two young kids, traveling with her partner in search of excellent food, and with her lovely horse, Sheldon. Her passion for robust community health systems led her to Watsi, as she recognizes the critical need to remove barriers for patients seeking advanced care, ensuring they receive timely and dignified treatment.
