Meet Ali, one of our two summer writing interns working at Watsi this summer. Ali started her collegiate career at Colgate University with a drive to work in healthcare. After two years at Colgate, Ali left upstate New York, completed the EMT training course and spent the summer volunteering in Panama, providing health care to rural island communities. Impacted by the people she met in Panama, Ali has a passion for helping those in need, and plans to pursue a career in Global Health. She is excited to be giving a voice to Watsi patients around the world, and contributing to the amazing work the Watsi team does. In the fall, Ali will be finishing her undergraduate degree in Microbial Biology at UC Berkeley.
