Gertrude is Watsi’s Uganda Operations Director. She also serves as the Councillor & Student Coordinator for the Banyatereza Sisters. Prior to her current responsibilities, she worked as General Secretary of the Banyatereza Sisters, Director of Rosa Mystica Business and Vocational Institute, Coordinator of the Antiretroviral Therapy program at Kasanga Health Center, and Curative Medical Support Representative, where she partnered with Watsi Crowdfunding to match patients in need of funding with donor support, at Virika Hospital. Gertrude holds a Master of Arts in Human Services from St. Edward’s University, in Austin, Texas.
